Factory reset of a Sony Bravia

Set your TV in standy (use the green power butten on your remote), RED standby LED is ON on your TV.

Now press these buttons in this order on your remote (pointing to the TV). i+ 5 VOL UP (+) GREEN POWER button

NOW BE CAREFUL! Dont press any keys just for the fun of it!!! IT MAY DESTROY YOUR TV. You should now be in the service menu. It will show up as some green letter/numbers spread over the screen (mine are a bit hard to see/a bit faded). In the upper right corner you should have 2 letters TT (two t's).

Now carefully press key 0 and then key 8 on your remote (they should be shown on the screen after the two TT).

Now wait a little while (more than 10 seconds) and your TV should reset with factory settings, just as if you had just brought it home from the TV store.
